Announcement for participants

The Banquet and Award Luncheon are included in the registration fee so please join at the venue “Sakura.” The Banquet starts at 19:00 and the Award Luncheon starts at 11:30. During banquets, Meeting Rooms 3 and 4 will be open for your baggage room, so please use them. The meeting rooms will be locked and managed, so please ask cloak staff when you leave.
Coffee, water and snacks are provided free of charge in Exhibition Hall 3.
Lunch boxes will be handed out in exchange for tickets at Exhibition Hall 3. If you haven't requested a lunch box, there is a lunch map in Booklet so please make use of it.
The smoking area is located outside the exit on the VIP room side.
At the ice cream social on the final day we will be serving “zunda ice cream.” This is a flavor unique to Sendai, so we hope many participants enjoy it.
Please contact a staff member if you need anything. Staff members wear name tags with black string.
Please check the location of the emergency exits in each room. In the event of a fire, earthquake, or other disaster, please check the announcements made in the building and follow the evacuation instructions.

Pre-Conference Event
The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) will host a workshop on human reliability analysis data on October 6 in Sendai International Center. The workshop is complimentary to all PSAM17/ASRAM2024 conference attendees. Attached is the workshop agenda. The registration is available on https://forms.office.com/g/GzgVCJNRb0. The registration will be closed when the room capacity is reached.

Submission of material
We do not plan to gather presentation materials at least before the conference.
Use of personal computer
You can use your personal computer for presentation.
We will prepare a projector and cable (HDMI) for connecting (no preparation of common computer).
Is there a template for PSAM & ASRAM presentations?
Please use your own preferred template for your presentation.
Presentation time
The presentation time for a technical session is 25min including Q&A.

About PSAM and ASRAM

PSAM is the conference in risk, risk management, reliability, safety, and associated topics. This world-wide group meets internationally every two years since 1991.

ASRAM is the symposium on risk assessment and risk management held annually in one of the three countries of Japan, Korea and China, which originated from the Japan-Korea PSA Workshop started in 1992.

We are pleased to announce that PSAM17 and ASRAM2024 will be jointly held in Sendai, the beautiful city of trees, in Miyagi Prefecture on October 7-11, 2024.
