Visa Information for Foreign Nationals
Most travelers to the United States must hold a valid visa and a passport valid for at least six months longer than the intended visit. If you do need a visa, please understand that the visa application process may take several months.

Participants from certain countries are required to obtain a visa when attending a conference and may also be asked to supply a letter from the PSAM14 conference to verify a participant’s attendance at the event. Some embassies may need to verify that registration fees have been paid in full and may require applicants to appear in person for an interview, causing delays in the application process. Applicants affected by these procedures are informed that additional screening is needed. Therefore, attendees should apply for a visa as soon as possible.

To apply for the B-1 visa you will need to go to Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application (DS-160) and will need to complete a FOR DS-160 to start the visa application process.

Should you need an invitation letter, please understand that you either need to have an accepted abstract to the Annual Meeting or must be registered and paid in full. Should your visa application not be accepted, we will be happy to refund your registration fee. Please email registrar@psam14.org to request a letter of invitation once you've registered or received your abstract acceptance notification.
